See What's Trending In Promotional Products for 2017
At the beginning of each year, we look for new products and ideas that build interest and excitement for promotional campaigns. While technology driven premiums continue to lead the way for promotional gifts and tradeshow giveaways, journals, retail brand drinkware and the ability for custom packaging is gaining momentum. Here are the trends we see as frontrunners for 2017.
1. Bluetooth Technology
When Apple removed the headphone jack from its products in 2016, it opened up the market for Bluetooth technology. While we have been selling Bluetooth speakers, headphones, keyboards, and trackers over the years, we see a new opening in the market for less expensive Bluetooth earbuds that can be used as tradeshow giveaways.
2. Virtual Reality
Turn your smartphone into a virtual reality 360-degree video with this smartphone viewer. This unique giveaway works on both iPhone and Android devices and allows you to experience hundreds of virtual reality apps through the Google Cardboard app, Google Play Store or the Apple App Store.
Custom journals continue to be very popular and are used on a daily basis in the workforce. While Moleskin continues to lead the way in brand recognition, other styles of journals allow for complete customization using vellum paper, tip-ins and belly bands.
S'well bottles were launched in 2010 and continues to grow in popularity for its color, style and ability to keep beverages cold for hours. Enthusiasm for this product spread over to the promotional markets industry and the demand for our version of this 17 oz. bottle has skyrocketed. Yeti and RTIC brand coolers took off in 2016 and is strong in the outdoors and sporting goods markets. We see this trend continuing in 2017.
